Movie Review: "The King's Speech"
Colin Firth has become one of my favorite actors. After seeing his amazing performance in Tom Ford’s A Single Man I immediately became a fan. So when I heard he was to portray King Goerge VI in a new movie I was beyond excited. Then the trailer came out and I became even more ecstatic about the film. That film was The King’s Speech I watched it today and was blown away.

I was sitting bored at home when I decided to watch Darren Aronofsky’s wonderfully powerful film about drug abuse Requiem for a Dream. That movie made me feel emotions that I had never felt before when watching a film. I had a very...

meetmeinmalkovich asked: I read your review of the Seventh Seal. Ingmar Bergman is a filmmaker i really admire, and i'm glad there's another person on Tumblr who's so fond of him and his work :) The Seventh Seal was the first film i saw of his as well. You should see Fanny And Alexander, Wild Strawberries, and Smiles of a Summer Night. They're all masterpieces directed by Mr. Bergman. I really think...

takesometea asked: Hey, Michael! I know I already sent you message so you're probably going to be overwhelmed with messages from me, but today two amazing things happened. First, I watched The Social Network (FINALLY. THANK YOU, INTERNET) and second I read your review on it. And you're right! It was sooo good! Probably the best film of 2010, although I have yet to see 127 Hours and Black Swan! :P

Movie Review: "True Grit"
The Coen brothers are amazing filmmakers so when I heard they were reuniting with Jeff Bridges to do their own version of the 1969 John Wayne western True Grit I was of course extremely excited. Then the teaser came out and I was completely blown away. I could not wait to see it in theaters and today I finally did and it was incredible.
